Ask your current AI to write down what it knows
Open your current assistant and paste this prompt into a new chat:
I'm moving to a new AI assistant. Please write out everything you've learned about me from our conversations so I can bring it with me. Include: who I am and what I do, my ongoing projects and goals, my preferences for how you respond, and any facts I've asked you to remember. Format it as a plain list of short, standalone statements about me — one per line, no headings or commentary. Leave out anything you're unsure about.
ChatGPT
It also keeps a separate memory page. Open Settings → Personalization → Memory → Manage memories, and copy anything there you want to keep. Paste it together with the chat answer — Augure sorts it out.
Claude
Paste the prompt into a new conversation. If your plan shows a memory summary in Settings, copy that too.
Gemini
Paste the prompt, and also check the Saved info page (gemini.google.com/saved-info) for anything worth keeping.
Copilot or anything else
The prompt alone is enough. Any format works — a list, a paragraph, a messy mix.
Then select the answer and copy it. Don't worry about tidying it up.

- Sign in at chat.augureai.ca — or create your account; the free plan works for this.
- Open Settings → Memory.
- Click Import from another AI.
- Paste what you copied and continue.

Choose what Augure remembers
Augure reads your paste and turns it into short, individual memories. You see the full list before anything is saved: keep or drop each one, and nothing is stored until you click Import. Every memory stays editable afterwards in Settings — or erasable, all at once.
Memory capacity depends on your plan: free keeps your top 3, Pro keeps 25, Max keeps 100 — and a year of conversations usually surfaces more than 3. If we find more than your plan holds, you pick your favourites, or upgrade on the spot and keep them all.
That's it. Your next conversation starts with Augure already knowing how you work.
Your data, handled right
- Your pasted text is processed once to organize it into memories — only the memories you choose to keep are stored, in your account.
- AI processing runs on Canadian infrastructure and with vetted EU partners under zero-data-retention agreements — never routed to providers in the United States. No inference provider retains prompt content after the request completes.
- Memories are yours to see, edit, export, and erase. Deleting them is never gated by plan.

Only you see your memories. They're stored in your account, and you can edit, export, or erase them anytime in Settings — erasing is never gated by plan.

Can I do this from my phone?+
Yes — open chat.augureai.ca in your phone's browser. Your memories then sync to the iOS and Android apps automatically.
Can I leave Augure the same way?+
Yes. Settings exports all your data, memories included, in a structured format. We'd rather earn your stay than lock you in.
Does Augure keep learning about me afterwards?+
With memory enabled, Augure keeps refining what it remembers as you chat. You stay in control from Settings → Memory: edit, pin, or delete anything, or turn automatic memory off.
