Projects
A project is a focused workspace that keeps related files and conversations together. Every conversation in a project can use that project's files as context. Find your projects under Projects in the sidebar.
You can have 5 projects on Free, 10 on Pro, and unlimited projects on Max and Ultra.
Need to ask questions across a large set of documents with citations? Use Knowledge (Savoirs) instead.
Files you can upload
PDF, Word (.docx, .doc), RTF, OpenDocument (.odt, .ods), Excel (.xlsx), CSV, plain text, Markdown, JSON, XML, YAML, and images (PNG, JPEG, GIF, WebP).
Limits by plan

"It's not reading my document"
Check these in order:
- The upload didn't finish. Wait for it to complete, or upload again.
- The file is in a different project than the conversation you are in.
- It's a scanned PDF longer than your plan's OCR page limit.
If the file is attached, in the right project and within your limits, and it is still ignored, contact us.
An upload was rejected
Check the file type against the list above and the size against your plan. Converting the file to PDF or DOCX usually works.
Exports
You can export your work to Word, PDF and CSV. Advanced document export is part of Max. To download everything at once, open Settings, then Privacy & Data, and choose Export My Data.
