The plans
- Free: about 25 messages a day, reset every day at 00:00 UTC. Ossington 5 and Tofino 3 are included.
- Pro: about 1,100 typical messages a week, plus Rosedale One with its own allowance.
- Max: 4× Pro's weekly allowance, a larger Rosedale One allowance, and unlimited documents and projects.
- Ultra: 10× Pro's weekly allowance, built for running Augure Code all day. Developer API keys on Ultra draw on the same allowance.
Current prices in Canadian dollars are on the pricing page. For teams, custom deployments or volume pricing, see Enterprise.
How the allowance works
The app shows your usage as a percentage, never as a count of tokens, along with when it recovers.
- Free has a daily allowance that resets at 00:00 UTC.
- Pro, Max and Ultra use a rolling seven-day window. Usage recovers gradually as older messages pass the seven-day mark, rather than all at once on a fixed day. A daily pace limit, which resets at 00:00 UTC, keeps a single day from using up the whole week.
- Long documents and long conversations use more than short messages, because the whole conversation is processed on every turn. Starting a new conversation for a new topic helps.
- Rosedale One has its own allowance. When it runs out, switch to Ossington 5 and keep working. The Rosedale One meter recovers on its own.
When you reach a limit
- On Free: wait for the daily reset, or upgrade to Pro.
- On Pro: wait for your allowance to recover, or upgrade to Max.
- On Max or Ultra: the app shows when you can continue.
Upgrade or change plans
- Open Settings, then Subscription & Billing.
- Choose a plan and pay by credit or debit card. Billing is in Canadian dollars through Stripe.
Upgrades take effect right away, and changes between paid plans are prorated. On an iPhone, upgrade on the web instead: see Augure on iPhone and Android.
Cancelling
Cancelling deletes nothing. Your conversations, projects, files and memories stay in your account, which moves to Free at the end of the paid period. Paid-only features stop and Free limits apply from then on.
My plan looks wrong
If you paid but still see Free, or your limits did not change after upgrading:
- Sign out completely, then sign back in.
- Check that you are signed in with the same email you paid with. A plan belongs to one Augure account, and a different sign-in method or address can be a separate account.
- Still wrong? Contact us and we will sort it out.
Developer API and MCP usage
API and MCP usage is billed separately, per use, and does not count against your chat allowance. On Ultra, API keys draw on the plan's allowance instead. See Developer API basics.
